Decline in Bitcoin Purchases by Corporations, Only 5,900 BTC in the Last Three Months

In the last three months, public companies have added only 5,900 Bitcoins to their reserves, marking a drastic decline compared to last year when corporations increased their holdings by over 100,000 BTC in a single quarter. The main buyer was Strategy, which accounted for most of the purchases, including an August acquisition of over 4,600 BTC. The value of the recently purchased Bitcoins is approximately $451 million, representing less than 7% of the value of purchases from the same period last year. The average acquisition cost of Bitcoin for corporate treasuries is around $80,500, indicating that these investors are currently at a loss. The market value of the cryptocurrency remains below this level, causing strong selling resistance. U.S. Bitcoin-based ETFs are experiencing variable capital inflows, and the total supply of stablecoins remains stable at between $300 billion and $310 billion, suggesting a moderate pace of new funds entering the market.
