Dework Founder Launches AI Hedge Fund Cambrian with $70 Million Seed Funding
Dework founder Lonis Hamaili has announced the launch of the AI hedge fund Cambrian, with seed funding of approximately $70 million. The fund has received support from Japanese listed company Metaplanet and Skype co-founder Jaan Tallinn. Hamaili stated that general artificial intelligence is on the horizon, and the trading multiples of hundreds of AI supply chain oligarchs are only 1 to 5 times their revenue and 5 to 15 times their profits. He believes that the shorter timeline for AI development may weaken the moat in the software sector, but key bottlenecks in physical processes still exist.
