Government considers extending the bid opening for the privatization of AySA
The Government is considering extending the opening of bids for the tender for the privatization of Agua y Saneamientos Argentinos (AySA), scheduled for this Thursday. The possibility of extending the deadline arose from requests from several potential bidders, who asked for more time to complete the required documentation. AySA confirmed that the extension is under review and that several interested parties expressed the need for more time to prepare their proposals. A new date for the opening of bids has not been officially defined. The potential extension of the timeline aims to encourage greater participation in the tender and allow interested companies to meet the established requirements to compete for control of the company.
