JPMorgan Chase Expands JPM Coin to Ethereum
JPMorgan Chase, the largest commercial bank in the USA, is expanding the functionality of its deposit token, JPM Coin, to the Ethereum mainnet. This decision aims to provide institutional clients with modern payment tools and settlement of tokenized assets. JPM Coin reflects currency deposits in US dollars, allowing corporate clients to transfer funds in a fraction of a second, regardless of business days. The choice of Ethereum is due to its market depth and liquidity, making it attractive for investors. Experts note that JPMorgan's move confirms the evolution of settlement systems towards public technological standards. The decision to shift settlements to a public blockchain continues the bank's expansion strategy, which began in November 2025. The value of assets locked in Ethereum is approximately $50 billion, making this platform an ideal place for investment.
