Police Warning About Cryptocurrency Fraud

By: ramzarz.news|11/02/2026 07:52:38

The Cyber Police has warned about fake advertisements that promise instant loans, employment, or guaranteed investment returns under the name of this agency. This warning also includes advertisements for buying and selling gold and cryptocurrencies that may encourage users to deposit money or provide banking information. Colonel Javad Mokhtarzadeh, the cultural and social deputy of the Cyber Police, announced that this police force does not issue permits for any websites, channels, or pages on social media. Therefore, phrases like "licensed by the Cyber Police" or "under the supervision of the Cyber Police" are not confirmations of a business's credibility. The Cyber Police also warned that operators of certain pages, by making such claims, lead users to pay money or provide personal and banking information. This agency urged citizens not to share their identity information, banking passwords, and SMS verification codes with anonymous channels and pages. Suspicious cases can be reported through the official website of the Cyber Police or by contacting the Cyber Emergency Center at 096380.
