Raoul Pal Claims Ethereum is Undervalued and Outlook for Digital Asset Market
Raoul Pal, CEO of Real Vision, has assessed Ethereum (ETH) as a significantly undervalued digital asset compared to its future value. He claimed that if the Ethereum network were to suddenly stop functioning, 70-76% of the entire stablecoin market and decentralized finance (DeFi) would be affected, estimating the value loss to be between $1 trillion and $1.5 trillion. Pal employs a strategy of buying when the long-term trend falls more than twice the standard deviation and stated that he holds Ethereum and Solana (SOL). He projected that the digital asset market could reach $10 trillion within the next two years and $100 trillion by 2035. He anticipates that interest rate cuts and increased corporate capital expenditures will funnel funds into the digital asset market, predicting that the stablecoin market size will reach $1 trillion within 3-4 years. Additionally, he mentioned that an 'economic singularity' that will change the economic system through AI agents is expected to occur around 2030.
