Strive Invests $94.5 Million in Purchase of 1,107 Bitcoins

U.S. asset management firm Strive has expanded its Bitcoin holding strategy by purchasing an additional 1,107 Bitcoins. Strive announced that it invested approximately $94.5 million to acquire Bitcoin from September 21 to 25, with an average purchase price of $85,396. With this acquisition, Strive's total Bitcoin holdings have increased to 27,462, which represents 0.14% of the total circulating supply. About 85% of the funds used for the Bitcoin purchase came from preferred stock SATA-related financing, and approximately $12.4 million was utilized from funds secured through warrant exercises. Strive is employing a strategy to secure Bitcoin purchase funds using capital market instruments such as preferred stock and warrants instead of operational cash. This approach is similar to companies that reinvest in Bitcoin after raising funds. Despite Bitcoin prices trading in the mid-$80,000 range, Strive has chosen to continue purchasing while maintaining access to capital markets to convert funds into Bitcoin. The scale of this purchase, at 1,107 BTC, is relatively small compared to the 2,615 BTC bought by Strategy over the past two weeks, but it is noteworthy for rapidly increasing Bitcoin holdings.
