TD Securities: The US dollar acts as a conditional safe-haven asset

According to Jin Ten's report, a strategist from TD Securities stated in a report that the dollar is currently acting as a "conditional safe-haven asset." They pointed out that the dollar is no longer a natural safe haven, but the nature of the current shock has restored its safe-haven characteristics. As the United States remains a relatively closed economy, with energy independence and geographical isolation, the Iran war has driven safe-haven funds towards the dollar.
