Tiger Research reports limited recovery in crypto corporate investment in Q3
Tiger Research's report titled 'The Era of Industry: Q3 2026 Crypto Industry Investment Report' indicates that while investor sentiment in the crypto market shifted from fear to greed in Q3, this change did not result in broader investments in crypto companies. The report highlights that capital influx, driven by rising cryptocurrency prices, was primarily directed towards direct crypto investments. Funding for companies needing long-term investment did not align with the short-term market sentiment. Additionally, the report notes that capital was more focused on later-stage companies with established business viability rather than early-stage investments. Sectors related to traditional finance, such as payments, stablecoins, tokenized securities, and AI-linked infrastructure, attracted more interest compared to new Layer 1 and Layer 2 blockchains.
