Typesafe AI Releases Jev Model, Monad Engineers Build 300 Millisecond Trading Bot
AI model developer Typesafe AI has announced the release of the System One model Jev, removing the waiting list and offering a $5 credit to each new user. The project has been secretly developed for two years, raising a total of $40 million. Jev does not support chat, only accepting factual and closed questions, with a response time for probability results ranging from 70 to 500 milliseconds. The input price is $0.042 per million tokens, and output is free. Jev can answer questions such as buy or sell, yes or no. In a Bitcoin price prediction test, Jev assessed the probability of Binance's one-minute K-line reaching $85,000 before 2027 at 55%, with probabilities of reaching $90,000 and $100,000 at 48% and 34%, respectively; Polymarket's corresponding market probability for $85,000 is 81%. On September 16, Monad's Chief AI Engineer Jarrod Watts integrated Jev with price data, constructing a trading bot that submits limit orders on the Kuru chain approximately every 300 milliseconds. This bot can determine whether to buy or sell based on Jev's assessments and has been open-sourced on GitHub as jarrodwatts/jev-trader.
