CleanSpark Secures $2.276 Billion Financing to Expand Data Centers, Holds 13,530 BTC and Sells 702 BTC

CleanSpark disclosed its operational data for September, reporting a mining output of 529 BTC and the sale of 702 BTC, of which 700 BTC were sold through call options and 2 BTC were sold directly on the spot market. The company holds 13,530 BTC, with an average operational hash rate of 36 EH/s and a contracted power capacity of 1.8 GW. CleanSpark's treasury includes 3,475 BTC as collateral for derivatives trading or accounts receivable. CleanSpark has secured $2.276 billion in financing for the expansion project at its Sandersville data center, with related lease agreements expected to generate approximately $6.6 billion in contract revenue. CEO Matt Schultz stated that this financing will provide full funding for the project from construction to completion. The company will cease monthly Bitcoin mining updates and switch to quarterly disclosures.
