Michael Saylor, Chairman of Strategy at MicroStrategy, stated that advancements in AI technology will amplify the value of scarce assets like Bitcoin. He referred to Bitcoin as a representative scarce digital asset, asserting that while AI will increase productivity and lower the prices of general consumer goods, the value of assets with limited supply will rise. Saylor diagnosed that there are currently two types of inflation in the global economy, explaining that due to mechanization, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) remains around 3%, while the capital cost of scarce assets has risen by an average of 15% annually over the past six years. He emphasized that Bitcoin is the most suitable scarce asset for the AI era, with a fixed total issuance of 21 million, meaning its supply cannot increase. Additionally, he described Bitcoin as a form of 'digital empowerment' that allows individuals and businesses to store economic value without traditional financial intermediaries. Saylor advised individual investors to accumulate scarce assets, predicting that Bitcoin will show an average value increase of about 30% annually over the next 20 years.
