Irish Police Social Media Accounts Suspected of Hacking
Several social media accounts used by the Irish police are suspected to have been hacked and used to promote cryptocurrency. The @GardaTraffic account, which has 600,000 followers, still claims to be the account of the Garda, Ireland's national police force, and is used to post updates on traffic and road safety. The @GardaInfo account, which has nearly 300,000 followers, does not display any personal information, but old posts from An Garda Síochána are still visible.
