Drift Protocol poinformował na platformie X, że po przywróceniu działania protokołu użytkownicy, którzy ulokowali środki w funduszu ubezpieczeniowym, będą mogli normalnie wypłacić swoje udziały. Fundusz ubezpieczeniowy ma na celu utrzymanie wypłacalności protokołu w przypadku likwidacji lub upadłości. Ponieważ protokół został wstrzymany, zanim straty zostały zrealizowane w ramach standardowych procesów likwidacji lub upadłości, fundusz ubezpieczeniowy nie ucierpiał w wyniku powiązanych luk w zabezpieczeniach lub ataków.
