Napastnicy dodali siebie jako właścicieli i zastąpili pozostałych sygnatariuszy, a następnie wyemitowali 8,35 mln USDR oraz 4,5 mln EURR. Z powodu niewystarczającej płynności on-chain, atakujący wymienili tokeny o wartości około 10,4 mln USD na około 1115 ETH na zdecentralizowanej giełdzie, co pozwoliło im na wyprowadzenie około 2,8 mln USD.
