У звіті від 21 травня Nomura зазначила, що майбутній голова Федеральної резервної системи Кевін Волш все ще може мати мотивацію до пом'якшення політики, проте останні дані та заяви посадовців ФРС змушують їх сумніватися в тому, чи зможе він переконати більшість членів Федерального комітету з відкритого ринку підтримати зниження ставки.
