What Is Janction (JCT)? AI Layer 2, Tokenomics and Risks
JCT is the token of Janction, a Layer 2 project focused on verifiable, synergic AI services, distributed computing and a GPU resource marketplace. WEEX published Janction’s listing notice on 10 November 2025 and announced JCT/USDT spot trading from 13:00 UTC that day. On 16 September 2026, the WEEX contract ticker API recorded the JCT/USDT perpetual as live, while the public JCT/USDT spot page resolved. This article is not a buying guide and makes no price prediction. It explains Janction’s documented product, token supply schedule, attributed listing history and the name collision that can lead readers to the wrong JCT.
What Janction is (the short version)
- Project: Janction describes itself as a Layer 2 for verifiable, synergic and scalable AI services.
- Token and chains: JCT has Ethereum and BNB Smart Chain/BEP-20 contracts.
- Contracts: Ethereum 0xC477B6dfd26EC2460b3b92de18837Fd476Ea7549 and BSC 0xeA37A8DE1de2d9D10772EEB569e28Bfa5Cb17707; match the addresses to the official tokenomics page.
- Product: Janction describes the integration of AI models, GPU computing power, data feeds and data labelling for co-processing, alongside a GPU Marketplace.
- Token utility: The official tokenomics page lists utility, governance, staking and marketplace settlement.
JCT also has a naming collision. Japan Content Token is a separate, older Ethereum ERC-20 project focused on tickets and cultural events, at the different contract 0x7fe92ec600f15cd25253b421bc151c51b0276b7d. It is not Janction and is not the asset listed by WEEX in this article. Use Janction’s full name, network and contract together; a ticker-only search can return the wrong project’s data.
What does Janction do?
The Janction documentation describes a Layer 2 for verifiable, synergic and scalable AI services. Its explanation is that smart contracts can automate and dynamize machine-learning and AI processes. The design brings together more than a model: AI models, GPU computing power, data feeding and data labelling are described as components for co-processing.
One named product is the GPU Marketplace. Janction says the marketplace aggregates GPUs from multiple sources to provide distributed computing capacity at lower cost. Its documentation also describes a cluster GPU pool and billing system covering scheduling, load balancing, resource security and isolation, recovery, cost management and efficiency. These are the project’s architecture and product claims; this article does not treat them as independent proof of performance or guaranteed savings.
JCT’s documented roles are utility, governance, staking and marketplace settlement. That is what “utility” means in this article: the uses listed by Janction’s official tokenomics page, not a claim about current demand or revenue. The two contract addresses also matter operationally. Ethereum and BSC use separate deployments, so a depositor must match the selected network to the exchange and destination address. A shared ticker does not identify a network.
JCT tokenomics: the numbers that matter
| Item | Amount and schedule |
|---|---|
| Total and stated maximum | 50,000,000,000 JCT, the fixed total in Janction’s official tokenomics. |
| Initial circulation | 22.99% at TGE, according to the official tokenomics page. |
| Current circulation | About 11 billion JCT, or 23.0% of 50 billion, as displayed by CoinGecko on 16 September 2026. |
| Deployment | 90% on Ethereum (45 billion JCT) and 10% on BSC (5 billion JCT). |
| Ecosystem | 17.145625 billion, or 34.29%; 30% at TGE, one-year cliff, then linear release over two years. |
| Investors | 5 billion, or 10%; 0% at TGE, one-year cliff, then linear release over 18 months. |
| Advisors and team | Advisors: 1.834375 billion, or 3.67%, with 0% at TGE, one-year cliff and two-year linear release. Team: 10.67 billion, or 21.34%, with an 18-month cliff and three-year vesting. |
| Foundation | 9 billion, or 18%; one-year cliff and two-year vesting. |
| Liquidity, community incentive and airdrop | 2 billion (4%), 1.5 billion (3%) and 2.85 billion (5.7%), respectively; each 100% at TGE. |
Allocation and vesting figures come from Janction’s official tokenomics page; the circulating figure is CoinGecko’s display on 16 September 2026. The important point is not only today’s circulating percentage. Large ecosystem, team, investor and foundation allocations have cliffs or multi-year releases. The 21.34% team allocation has an 18-month cliff and three-year vesting. The 10% investor allocation has a one-year cliff followed by 18 months of linear release, while ecosystem and foundation tranches follow their own schedules. These are structural supply terms, not a prediction of what they will do to the price.

Listing and where JCT trades
On WEEX, the official notice posted on 10 November 2025 announced JCT/USDT spot trading from 13:00 UTC. On 16 September 2026, the WEEX contract ticker API recorded the JCT/USDT perpetual futures as live, with a last-price snapshot of 0.001502. The JCT/USDT spot market page also resolved on that date. This is a dated liveness and price record. Leveraged futures multiply losses as well as gains and can result in losing all capital; an API live status does not remove that risk.
The Binance timing must be attributed to its source. A CoinCentral article published on 9 November 2025 reported that Binance Alpha trading would begin on 10 November 2025 at 10:00 UTC and that the JCTUSDT perpetual would begin at 10:30 UTC. The same article discussed a close Jasmy ecosystem link, but it is not a primary disclosure of Janction’s founders or investor cap table. No additional venue and date was independently verified in the primary or reputable sources reviewed for this article, so this article does not add more exchange claims.
JCT price so far (attributed)
- All-time high: $0.0106 on 10 November 2025, according to CoinGecko.
- WEEX contract API snapshot: $0.001502 on 16 September 2026, recorded for the live JCT perpetual.
The ATH is attributed to CoinGecko and the later figure to the WEEX contract API. Neither is a forecast. This page does not turn the two observations into a target, valuation or return promise. Small-asset market data can differ by venue, and JCT’s two network deployments make it especially important to confirm that a chart belongs to Janction rather than Japan Content Token.
The JCT outlook: what to watch
Nobody knows the future JCT price, and this page does not predict it. A grounded watchlist is more useful than a rumour calendar:
- Actual GPU Marketplace use: check whether GPUs from multiple sources are being aggregated and distributed capacity is actually made available.
- Component integration: compare product and documentation releases for models, data, labelling and co-processing with the project’s descriptions.
- Unlock timing: follow the 18-month team cliff, the investors’ one-year cliff, and the ecosystem and foundation schedules.
- Token utility: look for clear official documentation when governance, staking or settlement changes; listing a use is not measuring durable demand.
- Market access: check the WEEX contract API, spot page and futures interface separately, and keep the date beside each observation.
Risks to know before trading JCT
- Japan Content Token collision: the separate ticket and cultural-events ERC-20 uses a different contract. Confusing it with Janction can lead to the wrong market data or an incorrect transfer.
- Multi-year releases: the 21.34% team, 10% investor, 34.29% ecosystem and 18% foundation allocations have cliff or vesting terms that can change circulating supply according to schedule.
- Futures leverage: leverage magnifies losses and the entire capital can be lost.
- Secondary Binance reporting: the Binance Alpha and Futures times come from CoinCentral, not a primary team disclosure; they should not be given a stronger meaning.
- Operational discrepancy: the fetched WEEX futures HTML showed a circuit-breaker notice and disabled position controls while the contract API reported live. That dated difference is not the same as a delisting, but it matters when checking market access.
